Mini Review: These Broken Stars

Wow, this book was so good!

I loved the dual POVs and they little pre-chapter interrogation things, those drove me crazy! i wanted to know all the story!!

The whispers were weird. I really just thought Juliet was going crazy! It was a nice little twist.

I still a little confused on whether or not she is "okay" in the end. I won't share the spoiler issue :)

Overall, a great cover and i great story :)

Mini Review: Burned!

Okay, i have been avoiding Ellen Hopkins books for years now. For one simple reason, i hate verse! I can't read that. I tried and failed so i just never got to them.

So when i saw the audio version, i grabbed it and i listen to it and loved it :)

There are a crap ton of triggers in this book so be warned of that.

That ending killed me. My soul was crying and i was yelling at my phone! How dare it end that way!!!

Overall, if you get the audio, it's amazing :)

Mini Review: The Young Elites!

Okay i went into this fully knowing that others hate this book. I wanted to have an opinion of it :)

Well i did like the first 100 pages or so, then it just went down hill.

The world building was pretty much non existent. Nothing was described very well.

The characters didn't really grow.

The MC was a baby. She has this awesome power and then freaks out when she kills someone in SELF DEFENSE! ugh. I dislike that.

There was some nice parts that helped keep the rating from dropping lower but the bad was just too much.


Overall, i probably read the next one so i can talk about it with others :)
