Short Review: So i guess Grafton took this book in a weird direction for sure. So we have two stories in this. One is "main" story, guy goes missing and Kinsey is brought in to find him because his newest wife thinks he's dead even thou all the signs point to him running away, which as the books goes on, i can very much see why he wanted to leave. This stripper turned trophy wife, doesn't even seem too concerned that he's missing either. We get some random tied up loose ends, but overall, case goes "unsolved". Second story, which is far better than the main one, is about some brothers who off people in such a good way that they is no way to trace it back to them. Grafton should have just written the book about that one. Maybe it'll clear up in the Q book, but we'll see.

Short Review: OMGEE Stuff actually happened in this book. WE HAVE MAJOR PLOT MOVEMENT! I could cry tears of joy, but i won't because i still had huge issues with this book. Issue one, i'm really sick of Clair and Shane's love shit. Stop making out all the time, or making dumb jokes about having sex, WE GET IT YOU HAVE SEX AWESOME FOR YOU! God. Issue two, SPOILER! Claire died, but not really and came back fine, not okay, i would rate this 5 stars if she stayed dead, no joke. Too much filler shit as usual. It seems illness is the major factor that really takes out vampires, and the only plot twist Caine has. Ugh. Almost done.

Short Review: Filler book anyone? Ugh. So Nick is getting stronger, great, but does that really mean that he just randomly is a pro at playing drums. His mom is getting really on my nerves, dear god lady, let the kid be a freaking kid. She blows up on this poor kid because he bought some freaking clothes with his own damn money. B get up off him please! I do need to see this guys eyes in person thou, so if Kenyon can find me a pic of that, i would be happy. The ending, *sigh* do not cliff hang like that when you barely put anything into this damn book!

Short Review: Like serious-leh, i honest-leh, hated this book, but i hated it so much i want to keep going to hate it even more. The characters are jokes. The dancer is a ego maniac. Claire is a whiny, selfish B. Ally is just dumb, pretending to be someone else, like the famous girl isn't going to find out. I kinda like the island weird school vibe they have going one, but the head lady is freaking nuts.

Short Review: Listen to the audio of this, and the narrator made the head dragon guy sound like Yoda and another character sound like a LOTR character and i couldn't see past that. The prison part kinda confused me, there was a maze in it? And you had to not trust the left turns, but then the guy is like nah bro, you gotta follow the rats because they live above that rule. It was gross and i cringed a lot. The not telling a lie thing was interesting, the thing glowed different colors if the dragon lied. The end thou, too simple, they want them in prison but will let them go if they just let them have the egg, and he was like yah go ahead i trust you even thou you were just trying to saw the key off to escape. Dumb.

Their Perfect, wanted to slap her. I for sure didn't see the twist coming, and the cliff hanger ending, not cool. I really want book 2 now please! The guy in the library sounds like my kinda of guy ;) besides the one major issue with him....

Short Review: They said Nipples wayyyy too many times. And teasing. There was at least 5 sex scenes in this book, maybe more, i lost count, and any interest in this book. The baby deal near the end, so he just touched her and she got pregnant?! What kind of deal was that?! And she was okay with it, and just was like OMG i'm having a baby! The voice narrator did the Chronicles of Nick (at least it sounds just like him) and they have kinda the same story line and that messed me up on keeping track of what was happening. I may read more of this series, we'll see.

Guy chasing you in your shitty car?! That's when you freak out!!! *sigh* I hate when they write people like this, just accepting everything that happens. If i find out the girl i rescued has freaking wings and you can breathe fire, that should freaking freak you out!!! So we have the MC Kate which i liked, at first, she was stubborn and didn't do much to annoy me, until she meant Henry aka Hades. She claims she wants nothing to do with him for chapters, then one chapter she's just like eff it, and sleeps with the guy. Ugh. Ava was a horrible character. The ending was weird, and sad! Not sure where book 2 will go since we wrapped everything up (well besides who was killing the other girls) so eager (ish) to see where it goes.

Short Review: Cozy mystery right here. I sometimes like the books where the MC falls into solving a crime even thou it isn't their job, and sometimes i hate it. This one, i liked, to a point. Some twist i knew were going happen since it's modeled around a TV show, like that kid isn't really yours. The ending; (view spoiler) I'll let it slide as it's book 1 but still, no. It seems that each book will be a different murder since they wrapped this up at the end. Little low on the action, and her falling for that person, and then they get in a tiff near the end, ugh. Overall, an okay book, what i would expect from book 1.

Bad. Anna was a wet noodle. Ben was super cute thou! Shelia was a selfish B, i grew to like her last book, but now, i don't like her at all. The parts with Hitler were great, I'm weird and like Hitler stories so sue me, and the ending, whoa! I didn't see that coming! Interesting concept, but a bit too many "lives".

The way this is written takes time to get used to, a lot of slang that i don't understand, and the N word is used so much, i hate hearing it. The whole log thing was interesting, i don't know if it's true, but it if is, i wonder how they dragged them out of the water, or where they put them til they had enough to sell. I don't understand why we had like a glimpse of Tom in the front of this book, and why he randomly comes back near the end. Why? Not needed. I'm glad Finn helped Jim and didn't turn him in.

Short Review: I felt like i was reading a textbook, but like a modern textbook where they tired really hard to make it sound interesting and apply it to life. I feel like this is a modern day 1984 (which i haven't read yet). I liked the MC, he took risks and didn't throw fits when those around him didn't take the same risks. The crazy tech they used in this book kinda scares me greatly, like the thing that kept you walking pattern in it's memory, and the weird keys they used on the free Xbox! I was very mad about the random romance story thrown in, and the sex scene, and the VERY unneeded slight triangle near the freaking end. Overall an okay book, a bit dry, but has enough action to keep you going.

Short Review: Me and Steampunk sometimes get along, this book, wasn't the steampunk i like. Yah it had a strong female MC, but she was one of those types that are always pointing out that they are female but are kicking butt and wearing pants. The hunting scene kinda freaked me out. The amount of sexism in that scene hurt, but the fact that it suddenly turns into hunting humans instead, truly freaked me out. I also figured out the second she sat those kids around the table to feed them that she would admit to using them to get info on the street. (Which is done in other books as well) The random scenes in the play Hamlet and them fighting with props on stage while the players just go with it, doubtful, and the little tidbit about pulling the curtain of the box closed, not okay. Oh and if one more guy from that club told his wife to learn to keep her month shut, i was going to be triggered!
