Conclusion

Short Review: Seriously, worst ending yet. So Nancy just finds this lady, easily i may add, then just tracks her down at the damn airport and just says nah girl, don't go and the lady says ok... wow. And that Mrs. Skeets character, she needs to be just killed, for real, and her husband, he is messed up, talks and dresses like a Sailor even when not on duty.... Messed up.

Short Review: This is the end of the series, buttttt the tone of the book doesn't reflect that very well. Sure there is action and death, and even some of the main characters get hurt! *gasp* but the way the author wrote the scenes, you just read them in a boring half interested way. *shrug* Maybe it's just me, but i think it could have gone better. Conclusion

Continuing the Series:
Yes

Short Review: *sigh* this one is one of my favs of this series! Kinsey becomes somewhat human in this book. SPOILERS just so you know.... Kinsey finds her family!!! Well kinda, they really find her, and she pretty much tells them to eff off, she's fine on her own. Oh Kinsey, you need to open your heart a bit more please! The story line other than the family issues was boring as fuck. Nothing really happens, money is being moved around, then lost and she has to find some guy who "killed" himself... boring and a very predictable ending. Skipping this one would be good.

Short Review: I badly wasn't to punch Kinsey in the face during this book. I know she just kinda "meet" this new family of hers, but damn B, you don't need to go off on them just because they asked you to dinner!? Seriously!? You have horrible people skills. The story line other than the family issues was boring as fuck. Short Review: This was the first Nancy Drew book to bore me. There was a fire in the first part, which was crazy exciting, then nothing really happens after that. Some guy keeps hiding in the bushes, they think someone faked the fire, they find explosives in someone's house, but it was just told in a crazy boring way. Then the ending, dull! Damn the wife thou, she needed to be put in her place. And the narrator did some offensive accents.

Okay, putting that aside, the twist about the secret of the Farm, really isn't even about the damn farm that Nancy even freaking goes to. Plus side, the book didn't open with a near death scene, so we have that. Oh the 1930's, what a time to be alive.

Worst Part: Rude people!

Conclusion

Short Review: This book really made me feel sorry for Stephanie, for two reasons. Reason one, her sister is having a baby! And their parents can't stop digging at Steph about it! Reason two, these Indian ladies she is trying to help, keep shaming her for being on the fence with two men. This book was a bit different than the others since the person Steph was looking for, hadn't ran, yet, he went missing before then! The all out fighting in the end was great, Stephanie took some "hits"! Ranger drove me nuts in this book, as usual ;) Lola's many diets kept me laughing; "Egg 1 pt" "What else was with the egg?" "Biscuit and sausage, but it says egg so that's what i'm putting!!"

Short Review: I know they went back and rewrote some of these to get rid of some offensive parts, but this one, they missed one geared towards Hispanics, which bothered me. That aside, how can you go wrong with horses!? Nancy is being too Nancy (yah i'm going to go with that), thief steals her bag, so what does she do!? Run after the guy of course, then when she catches up to him, he warns her to not go to the ranch, so what does she do?! Go to the damn ranch of course. *sigh* Oh Nancy.

Short Review: Okay this one bored me too much. I mean, the author spent a chapter explaining the history of lilacs, are you kidding me, i don't give a fuck about a flower, if i did, i would be reading the book about the history of lilacs! Sheesh. Then the author reused the almost death scene from book 3 but instead of a boat on the sea, it's a canoe on a river.... which the river is deep enough for a freaking sub... no, not logically at all, stop that.

Yes

Short Review: The first 2 books are very cut and dry on who the title works into the mystery, but this one, not so much. Yah they stay in the bungalow for one night, but really that's the only time it's really mentioned besides a bit towards the end. I figured out the twist from the start thou, but i still enjoyed the story. Again, we open with Nancy almost dying, this time Helen is with her. They are rescued and them become legit best friends with this random girl. Maybe people are way nicer in the 1930's but i don't think so. Helen still is planning her wedding, again nothing gets settled there. Clean ending, as usual.

Short Review: So probably not the smartest idea to include the "twist" in the title of the book, just saying. This book opens with Nancy almost dying, and in the same way Nancy almost saw the person in book 1 almost dying... hm. Put that aside. Helen is still planning her wedding, but nothing every really happens with that, like at all, other than the mention of the boy we haven't even met yet.... The people think a ghost is stealing their shit, yah that's logical, and asked Nancy to help. Some crazy dude warns Nancy about it thou and pretty much threatens her dad. Dad goes missing, big surprise. All is well at the end thou, trend much.

Short Review: Think this will be the end of the series for me, i just can't get into these at all. The writing throws me off too much. Far too many sex scenes (yes i know it's about sex trafficking, but still). I tried the audio for this one, just can't keep my attention on it. Oh well. I cringe whenever i heard the MC's name, Lisbeth, not sure why, but it just makes me feel weird. First half of the book was boring, nothing really happened, you find out about the murder and he does some "investigating" but not much. I might give the movies a try and see if i can follow those better.

Short Review: Everyone thinks they're Nancy freaking Drew these days. Girl gets killed and you think "Maybe i'll figure this out even thou the cops and school staff and family has told me to not do this...". Freaking genius this one. The girl's brother rubbed me wrong the whole time, and i'm glad the MC didn't start to like him. The ties between the girl and this Lee guy, made a bit of sense, but not enough for me to believe the story. It was an okay start for the series but not the best i've read.

Short Review: The MC is growing up! Well kinda, she gets a job! But she still spends too much time hung up on her boyfriend Ryan, who for some weird reason had to bulk up in this book, which set the MC off, too much sexual tension there. Poppy was still "dealing" with her break up. Rose starting working with a teacher whose name is very near Frankenstein. Their mom spent all this book in Italy, and we have some weirdness going on with another family member. The answer behind the doubles was too fast and not very well explained at all. It's a short book, but still, really could've cut out some stuff (like Ryan's football practices) and explained things better.

I get that he missed Louie but he did some real dumb shit just to see Louie. The twist i did see coming, the author did some good foreshadowing, so if you're paying attention, it won't take you by surprise, but it's still a good enough twist that i didn't mind that part. The crippled girl (sorry forget name) broke my heart thou, i totally understand why she would want to stay in the dream world. The radio show girl was too whiny for me, she faked an engagement to get more radio time, her greed almost got her!

WTF. No. Stop this. Write about an actual event instead. It took about 2hrs for this to even get to the major issue. WHICH IS THE SAME DAMN ISSUE IT'S BEEN FOR FOUR FUCKING BOOKS. The humans no like vampires. Vampires no care. Humans try to fight vampires. Vampire win because they're vampires. Humans rally up bigger in the end.
