Best Part:
The ending, got me going for sure.
Worst Part: The MC's friend was a total bitch.
Thoughts Had: Me likely

Conclusion

Continuing the Series:
n/a sadly
Recommending: Yes

Short Review: I guess you can say this is a retelling, but it's more like the book/play Wicked, you are getting to see the before (at least i assume it's the before, it isn't very clear, to me at least). I did like it, it did tend to drag in the middle thou. I liked the MC enough, she was very pigheaded thou. Jest was probably my fav next to Raven! Hatter was interesting, and Mr Peter need to suck some lemons. Cheshire needed more lines! I highly recommend to anyone who like Alice in Wonderland, or fantasy.

Book Boyfriend: Jest
Best Friend Material: Cheshire

Thoughts Had: Damn cover, i need better self control.

Conclusion

Continuing the Series:
n/a
Recommending: Eh

Short Review: Okay, rant in spoiler tag... (view spoiler) Favorite character was Jayden, followed by Ainsley (which her issue is major, and damn Mallory basically gave no shits about it.) Hated Mallory and Rider. For starters, Rider, what kind of name is that, that's asking for sexual jokes.

Best Part:
Spencer's nerdy responses.
Worst Part: Nope.
Thoughts Had: Vampires vs Knights... could be something there!

Conclusion

Continuing the Series:
n/a
Recommending: Yes

Short Review: I really wish Spencer was more involved in the story, he was nerdy, but a cute nerdy! The LARPing was a great add, Audrey's personalty from that made me super like her. There was a bit of boob talk but it's from a male POV and i have always encountered that when male POVs, so no biggie. I liked the side characters, Eddie cracked me up, and Dawn was legit nuts. Not much going on for plot, but it was still felt like it was moving, so overall a good book.

The Shadow Prince
Into the Dark #1
 Bree Despain

Bio:
Haden Lord, the disgraced prince of the Underrealm, has been sent to the mortal world to entice a girl into returning with him to the land of the dead. Posing as a student at Olympus Hills High—a haven for children of the rich and famous—Haden must single out the one girl rumored to be able to restore immortality to his race.

Daphne Raines has dreams much bigger than her tiny southern Utah town, so when her rock star dad suddenly reappears, offering her full tuition to Olympus Hills High’s prestigious music program, she sees an opportunity to catch the break she needs to make it as a singer. But upon moving into her estranged father’s mansion in California, and attending her glamorous new school, Daphne soon realizes she isn’t the only student in Olympus who doesn’t quite belong.

Haden and Daphne—destined for each other—know nothing of the true stakes their fated courtship entails.  As war between the gods brews, the teenagers’ lives collide. But Daphne won’t be wooed easily and when it seems their prophesied link could happen, Haden realizes something he never intended—he’s fallen in love. Now to save themselves, Haden and Daphne must rewrite their destinies. But as their destinies change, so do the fates of both their worlds.

CHOICE #2

 Tiny Pretty Things
Tiny Pretty Things #1
Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton

Bio:
Gigi, Bette, and June, three top students at an exclusive Manhattan ballet school, have seen their fair share of drama. Free-spirited new girl Gigi just wants to dance—but the very act might kill her. Privileged New Yorker Bette's desire to escape the shadow of her ballet star sister brings out a dangerous edge in her. And perfectionist June needs to land a lead role this year or her controlling mother will put an end to her dancing dreams forever. When every dancer is both friend and foe, the girls will sacrifice, manipulate, and backstab to be the best of the best.

CHOICE #3

The Start of Me and You
Emery Lord

After shutting out the world for two years, Paige is finally ready for a second chance at high school . . . and she has a plan. First: Get her old crush, Ryan Chase, to date her—the perfect way to convince everyone she’s back to normal. Next: Join a club—simple, it’s high school after all. But when Ryan’s sweet, nerdy cousin, Max, moves to town and recruits Paige for the Quiz Bowl team (of all things!) her perfect plan is thrown for a serious loop. Will Paige be able to face her fears and finally open herself up to the life she was meant to live?

Cutting Down the TBR 2.0!

I know it's been a minute so I'm sure some have forgotten about my CDTBR challenge.
Basically i went through my To Read self on Goodreads, wrote down all the series, put them in a jar, i pull two from it at random, and you guys vote on which i read next!

Last round's winner was The Remnant Chronicles!
I finished book 1 and 2, and am on hold for book 3.

Recently i found this on Epic Reads: 365 Days of YA

So I spent a whole shift at work going through them and finding which I still needed to read! I put them on their own shelf, and using Random.org, I am pulling 3 numbers and you guys get to pick which one I read next! Going forward i will switch between the 365 books and the series for the rounds so I can tackle more!

Round 9 coming soon ;)

This year I want to focus on some other things besides reading, but you know me, I can't not read so here's is my goal for 2017!

Did you complete your 2016 goal?! What did you set your 2016 goal at?!

Best Part:
Almost done with this damn series
Worst Part: Clair, as usual. I hate this girl.
Thoughts Had: *Giggles into his month* ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME

Conclusion

Continuing the Series:
Sadly yes
Recommending: NO

Short Review: Clair you are the WORST girlfriend. Let me paint you a word picture. So Shane (Clair's boyfriend) goes through hell and back. They recuse him from that. Clair thinks to herself "Maybe he'll talk to me about it even thou it was so horrible". Clair goes to comfort him, then asks about what happened when they made him dream, he then shot her down saying it was too hard to talk about. Then Clair being a completely normal, thoughtful girlfriend thinks to herself "MAYBE HE DREAMED ABOUT HOW MUCH BETTER OFF WITH ME HE IS!?!?!?" FUCK YOU CLAIR! FUCK YOU! Then we have this awkward almost sex scene between Eve and what's-his-face since they were being babies about some shit and was 'mad' at each other before that.

Misc.

Book Boyfriend: No one.
Best Friend Material: HAHAHAHAHA
