Eh.
Worst Part: Very confusing with only one narrator
Thoughts Had: Um. Ok?

Conclusion

Continuing the Series:
Yes
Recommending: Not yet.

Short Review: This was an interesting book for sure. So all these kids have to figure out clues to save their "line", which i am a bit confused on, is that line all their family or all the people where they live, and whats stopping others from moving to the area when they notice someone is getting close to being a winner, would they live at that point or no? That aside. I hate Christopher. I had the audio book and i can say with 100% truth, don't get the audio, read the actual book. They have one narrator for all the POVs which is the biggest pet peeve i have, and some of it is horrible read out loud. At one point i thought my book was stuck repeating some shit, but no, it's how it was supposed to be read...

Short Review: (view spoiler) I find it weird to have Eric actually remember what went on between him and Sookie. Sookie already told him so what's the point of him remembering and bringing it up again. And why the fuck would Sookie break up with someone because they have some slight baggage!?! Ugh. This is why you will probably die alone Sookie. The little Were battle needed to stretch out more. I am eager to learn more about this King thou. Fun stuff.

Short Review: Finally something is happening, bomb threats, Billy is back, the Queen is on trial! Indiana was mentioned! (My state!) And he is a gay vampire, total plus! It dragged so much in the beginning, but around the 85% mark it went crazy! I was speed reading til the end wanting more. I do consider how Billy dealt with the stuff at the end, it was weird, i understand why he wanted to just leave, but idk, hero's welcome anyone?

Conclusion

Short Review: The story building for this is horrible. Legit horrible. So Hadley, which you are NEVER introduced to, died, i guess, oh and she was a vampire... but for real, never fucking explained, maybe if you read the novella between 5 and 6 BUT THAT SHOULDN'T EVER BE REQUIRED FOR MAJOR PLOT THINGS! GRRRRRR. Okay, sorry, but really, fuck that. So Sookie has to go deal with Hadley's stuff, idk why Jason wasn't even involved in this, idk. And of course Eric shows up, and Bills tags along for a crazy awkward car ride. Quinn pops up some. Sookie's sex life is going crazy.

Short Review: The pack leader thing, holy shit that was intense. To the death type shit, sign me the fuck up please! We have a 5 people fighting over Sookie, and a 6th on the way so yay? NOT. Quinn sounds bad ass and if he truly turns into a tiger, holy hell, i need to see this! Calvin i kept viewing as an old man and since he has the hots for Sookie, i cringed, a lot. I thought more was coming for Jason's new "problem" but it was rushed and put aside rather quick. Boring for the most part.

Short Review: I grew very bored with this one. So now we are introducing Witches into the Sookie world. Vampires, Werewolves, and Witches, oh my. Jason goes missing, yawn, Sookie does turn to find him but really, she kinda said 'eff it. Hotspot (which come on, think of a better town name) is also introduced here too, and it's a scary place indeed. Not much goes on. (view spoiler)

Short Review: Nice cozy mystery about tax invasion... for real thou, it wasn't horrible. I like the MC, she reminds me of me, like when she said eff it to fixing up her yard. She does get her nails done like every day it seems, which annoyed the shit out of me. Brett was an okay love interest, he wasn't around much thou, she thought about him way more than she spent with him. The ice cream man part, kinda pointless, i mean yah, it added the nice side character of the DEA girl, but it was not needed. I'm eager to see how this series plays out.

Short Review: Sookie really got thrown around in this book, i kinda enjoyed it a bit... Bill runs off, another person is added to this love triangle, so we're at a square now. Sookie goes as far as imagining having kids with this new person, so that was... yah. Eric as always is the best. Short Review: First, the whole orgy party, hardest thing i have ever had to read. Just saying. Sookie making demands of the vampires makes me a bit mad, like what right do you have to make them promise not to hurt the humans who freaking betrayed them, it's none of your concern how they dealt with him nor the outcome. Sheesh. Geoffrey in the end crushed my soul. Him wanting to meet the sun to atone for his sins, deep shit there, but really he had turned over a new leaf and i wish he had realized that.

Conclusion

Yes

Short Review: I know these are the books behind True Blood, so i asked around and others said that the show is full of sex, but the books aren't. Lies people, LIES! There was a few very detailed sex scenes in this book! Ugh. The MC is an okay person, she is plagued with being able to read other's thoughts, and i'm intrigued on how they show that on the show, or if its even in the show. Her brother comes across as a whore, and Sam's little issue is kinda cute! Bill (which come on, you should have thought of a way better name than fucking Bill for this guy!) is described as dreamy, but his personality needs some work. For a first book in a long series, it's okay.

Short Review: I think i might have read this a bit wrong, but Thomas is basically having sex with everyone at this thing they all go to.... and yet the MC is still "in love" with him. So the MC's roomies are using her as a slave, which she just takes because god forbid she has to live in a normal dorm at school. Then (view spoiler). The MC spends 98% of the book worrying about Thomas, longing for Thomas, but not any time actually looking for Thomas.... Girlfriend of the damn year.

Short Review: This book is shelved most as Romance but really, i didn't see much romance. I did really like how the different woman were connected but they didn't realize it. I was very concerned that no one is really worried about a certain person who goes missing, guess no one gives a true shit about him, well besides the one daughter. The couple dealing with the loss of their daughter; i felt like their reconnecting was too easy, they never really worked anything out at all, but end up fine in the end (sorry if you consider that a spoiler, i don't).

Short Review: I mainly wanted to listen to this one to hear the scene where Darth tells Luke about his parentage, and it was well worth it for sure. Hearing Luke deny the shit out of Darth Vader, so worth it. The narrator did a great job of doing the breathe of Darth Vader as well, i was impressed. Sound effects still on point in this book. Darth should have his own book, for sure.

Short Review: I liked this a bit more than the retelling of New Hope, it was more hands on for sure. I don't remember a whole lot from this movie, i know there was snow and he had to crawl into the animal to live, and that's about it. Oh and of course Yoda is involved! Leia isn't, which is a plus for me after listening to her whine all last book. The narrator does a good job of including you in the storm, we did breathing exercisers together! Yoda is my favorite for sure, thou the narrator could have worked his voice a bit more for him.

Short Review: I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan, I've seen all the movies that are out but i don't go out of my way to watch any of the TV series, nor find the books and read them, but hey this is an audio book, so might as well right. So if you need to find some good audio books to read, read these, the sound effects make you feel like you're in the dang movie. I kinda started to hate Lelia in this thou, she bitched too much, like she is a damn Princess but complains that no one will take her seriously, cliche much? Sheesh. Along with Leia' POV, you get Han's and Luke's, and lets just say the whole awkward kiss in the movie, is about a million times more awkward in this book since you have a better insight of how Luke feels towards Leia... *cringe*

I did like the little insight into the mother's life, i really connected to her more than the MC herself. For starters, the love interest, hello fuckboy, hello i just want someone to fuck and this girl looks like someone who won't tell me now. He tells sob stories to make her like him more. He has 2 phones, enough said. The MC, wow, someone needs to love herself real quick, she falls for this guy and sees past all the bad shit, and doesn't say no to him at all. Top Ten Tuesday! (2)

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.

This week's Top 10 Topic:
Top Ten 2016 Releases I Meant To Read But Didn't Get To (But TOTALLY plan to)

My Answers:

Eh. Idk if i can think of 10....
(All are in no order other than just the order i find them on my shelves)

1. Empire of Storms
Throne of Glass #5
Sarah J. Maas
I put this book on hold, got it, then realized i never read the book before it... yah.

 2. The Last Star
The 5th Wave #3
Rick Yancey
This book is huge, so i kinda read other stuff instead!

3. Crooked Kingdom
Six of Crows #2
Leigh Bardugo
After reading a crazy amount of raving reviews, i figured there is too much going on with a certain character, and i just didn't want to get to it til it all died down.

4. A Gathering of Shadows
Shades of Magic #2
V.E. Schwab
Even thou i really loved book 1, when i got book 2, i just felt no desire to read it, but i have it right now, so we'll see!

5. Kindred Spirits
Rainbow Rowell
I love every single book Rowell has written so why didn't i read this? Honestly i forgot about it :/ whoops.

6. It Ends With Us
Colleen Hoover
Let's just say, i haven't recovered from the last Hoover book i read.

7. Morning Star
Red Rising #3
Pierce Brown
I have zero interest in this story at all, book 2 was a bit better than 1 but still, no. But I can't not finish a series, so eff it, i'll read it, someday, maybe, idk.

8. The Hidden Oracle
The Trials of Apollo #1
Rick Riordan
Even thou i feel Riordan writes in a middle school way (no offense to anyone that really likes his books, but that's how i feel), but i have a thing for Gods.

That's all the ones i can say i meant to get to but didn't!
I feel like i did well reading 2016 releases in a timely manner.

Any of mine on your list?!
